I believe that every diet should have a “free” day, which allows you to eat something that you are not supposed to eat. For example: Chocolate, peanut butter, pizza, chips, and more things that we actually enjoy eating. So, I thought about to give a little twist to my previous posts and come up with a delicious recipe with an awesome ingredient that most of the people LOVE: CHOCOLATE!
I am a huge chocolate fan, so I wanted to create a new recipe using cacao and peanut butter flavors. However, do not get my wrong! It is still healthy, not as healthy as my other recipes but this smoothie-shake is high in proteins!
One of the main ingredients is the amazing plant-based protein powder that I regularly use to have a protein balanced diet ⇒ This protein powder has a delicious chocolate peanut butter flavor and its texture makes every smoothie to be the best one. It gives you the perfect formula to get the whole food nutrition that your body needs!
⇒ The best thing about this plant-based protein is that you can mix it with different type of drinks and food recipes and the flavor will still be the same. Scoop, stir, smile!
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop Protein Superfood: Chocolate Peanut Butter
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 1/2 banana (if it is frozen better!)
- 4 ice cubes
- Sweetener of your choice
- Optional: chocolate chips, coconut powder, almonds, etc.
Note: You can use another type of milk such us: oat milk, coconut milk, or even low-fat milk
- Now it is time to blend all the ingredients but the “optional” one, which are the toppings.
- After blending everything, add your topping and it is ready to drink!
Note: This smoothie-shake is perfect for summer days and for your snack time! It also helps you to take a break from your current diet!
Remember: The smoothie-shake is still high in protein!
